LAST WEEKS 'GROWING GALILEO', CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION IN BRUSSELS PROVIDED VALUABLE INFORMATION ABOUT EUROPE'S SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

On 14-15 November 2007, participants to the 'Growing Galileo', Conference and Exhibition in Brussels learned about the new technologies and applications developed for global satellite navigation systems under EU's 6th Research Programme.

The conference provided as well relevant information about funding opportunities for Galileo and EGNOS R&D under the 7th Research Framework programme.

The conference was organised by GSA, the European Agency in charge of the Galileo and EGNOS programmes and had a range of high-profile speakers as well as interesting input from both the private and public sector.
