Faroese Fashion in London
This week, saw the introduction of some of the best and most innovative Faroese designs on the London fashion scene. The purpose is to introduce Faroese designs to the British fashion market.
The fashion event is organized as a show case in Digitaria in Soho. 7 exciting designers, both established and up and coming, are taking part in the event. These are Guðrun & Guðrun, Sirri, Barbara í Gongini, Jóhanna av Steinum, Elisa Heinesen, Beinta Poulsen from SoulMade and Malan á Lofti from Lofti Design.
Media, PR and buyers were invited to take part in the event in order to establish contact with the designers, for example representatives from Vouge and Dazed Digital along with buyers from Harrods and Asos.
The fashionable event is arranged by creative consultancy firm Mushrooms in close collaboration with Vinnuframagrunnin, The Representation of the Faroes in London and the Faroese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
